5S - Set in order(정돈)

Set in Order – The goal of this step is to examine methods of storage that are effective and efficient, sometimes referred to as “visual management,” and then create a work environment that is organized, ergonomic, uncluttered and easily navigable. Some questions to ask during this step might be: Which specific items are needed to perform a task? How many items need to be readily accessible and where should they be located?

정돈 - 이 단계의 목표는 "시각적 관리" 라고도 하는 효과적이고 효율적인 보관 방법을 검토한 후 조직적이고 인간공학적이며 정돈되지 않은 아이템을 쉽게 탐색 할수 있는 작업 환경을 구축 하는 것이다. 이 단계에서 다음과 같이 질문 할수 있다. 작업을 하는데 필요한 구체적인 아이템은 무엇인가? 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 아이템은 몇개가 필요하며, 어디에 위치 해야 하는가?

 

The methodical storage of materials means that every item has a predetermined location where it will remain until it used, and then it will be returned immediately following its use. Labels and color coding are also helpful techniques to use in this step. With an organized and efficient use of storage, everyone is easily able to locate important items and enjoy a less stressful work environment.

 

자재를 체계적으로 보관 하는 것은 모든 품목이 사용할 때까지 남아 있을 장소를 미리 정해 놓고, 사용 후 즉시 반환한다는 것을 말한다. 라벨과 색상코딩도 이 단계에서 사용하는 데 도움이 되는 기법이다. 체계적이고 효율적인 스토리지 사용으로, 모든 사람들은 쉽게 중요한 아이템을 찾을 수 있고 스트레스를 덜 받는 작업 환경을 즐길수 있다.
